What makes High Note Entertainment, LLC different from other Grand Rapids DJ services?
We are a small, privately owned company, which means we can be flexible to the needs of each customer. High Note offers a personable approach which allows each customer to customize our service to fit their specific equipment needs, budget and event timeline. We will work with your photographers, caterers, event planners, etc. to make sure your wedding or event goes as planned!
How far will your DJ’s travel?
While our service mainly covers the greater Grand Rapids area, we are willing to travel as well! We will travel 50 miles at no charge to the customer. After 50 miles, there will be a minimal surcharge for fuel.
Do you do outdoor events?
Absolutely! Whether you have a romantic beach wedding or simply a party in the backyard, we will be happy to host. We do, however, ask that the customer provide an electrical outlet and some type of protective cover (i.e. awning, tent, pavilion, etc.) in case of rain.
Can we pick the music?
Of course! We offer a wide variety of music, from great oldies and classic rock to current pop music and Billboard hits. It’s up to you if you want us to take requests and/or set up a specific list of songs to play (or not to play). Our DJ’s are more than happy to play any type of music you care to hear!
How long will your DJ’s perform?
As long as you need! Since our rates are typically by the hour, we are willing to perform as much or as little as needed. Not sure how long your event will last? Don’t worry! If the party’s still going at the end of your contracted time, we will gladly let you “pay-as-you” go for any additional time!
Will you provide music for a wedding ceremony, dinner and cocktail hour?
Yes. We have wide variety of soft music for ceremonies and cocktail hours as well as upbeat dancing music!
Is there a written contract?
Yes. Once you have chosen High Note Entertainment, LLC for your wedding or event, we will provide each customer with a written contract outlining the time, cost, and details of the event.
Is there a charge for set-up/tear down time?
No. We charge for performance time only. Set-up and tear-down time is on us!
What if I am still looking for a photographer, officiant or other service in addition to a DJ?
No problem! We are willing to work with any vendor of your choosing, or we can recommend venues, photographers and other vendors that we enjoy working with. Check out our preferred vendors.
